Fun Class: R for Rainbow

This is the second lesson for letter R, in the first lesson, she learned R for Rabbit.

She sang the greeting song to start the lesson.

After a quick revision on the words and pictures that she learned in her first lesson on R, we listened to the rhyme and song of R, which went like this:
Running, Rowling, Rr, Rr, Rr.....
Rr is the sound of R!

She traced the upper and lower case R. This worksheet was printed from Starfall.com. A very good website for the kids to learn letters and phonics.

I prompted her to spell the word "Rainbow".  If you're interested to find out this technique, you may refer to here.

The craft work for this lesson was to draw a rainbow on a plastic wrapped paper, it started well initially......

The final product, eh, I think one will need some imagination to see her Picasso drawing....

We sang the closing song of "The Rainbow" to end the lesson.
