We started the lesson after singing the greeting song.
She traced letter R in upper and lower case.
You can print your own A-Z A4 size paper easily, just make sure the alphabet is big enough.
We listened to the phonics sound and song of letter R, which went like this:
Running, Rowling, Rr, Rr, Rr.....
Rr is the sound of R!
She took out the pictures of objects spelled after letter R from an
envelop, she would say out the name of the objects before pasting them
on the A4 paper.
She labeled the pictures after spelled the words.
Her letter R pictures with labels. Look at her happy face, the glasses is a toy glasses by the way....
I prompted her to spell the word rabbit, she has no problem on prompting now, my next task will be helping her on blending the alphabets.....
Since we had more time, I let her coloured the phonics sheet. I asked her what colour does she like, she said pink. So we mixed the red and white to get the pink colour.
She was amazed that pink is mixed by red and white colour, everything seem to be exciting for her age.
She likes painting a lot, if I were to let her choose between paint or crayon, she will choose paint for sure.
The material for the craft work in this lesson:
She pasted the cotton wool on the picture of a rabbit. She just likes to do funny faces.....
We sang the closing song of Little Peter Rabbit to end the lesson.
