A to Z Crafts - H for Hippopotamus!

The materials for this craft are easily available at every household. This craft is also simple to do for a pre-schooler.

H for Hippopotamus

What you'll need:
1) 1 piece of paper plate
2) 1 piece of white paper for the eyes, ears and mouth cut-out
3) Small piece of pink colour paper for the ears cut-out (I used the empty pages of used exercise book)
4) Small piece of black colour paper for the eyebrows cut-out (again, you can use any leftover art paper)
5) A pair of scissors
6) Water colours

Instruction:
1)  Colour the paper plate, preferably grey colour.

2) Cut out the shape of eyes, ears and mouth. Draw the eye balls. Colour the white colour ears to grey (or same colour as the paper plate)

3) Paste all the cut-out on the paper plate and it is done.

The kids are happy with their hippo craft. My boy even kept it in his school bag and brought it to the school :)
